ST. CHARLES - The Mineral Area Lady Cardinals volleyball team picked up two wins on the road against Lindenwood JV. Lindenwood was split up into two teams; gold and black. The Lady Cards defeated Lindenwood black by the scores of 30-8, 30-28, and Lindenwood gold by the score of 30-26 in both games.
Jessica Wines hammered seven kills against Lindenwood black, and Tiara Boyer fired six. Ali Tyson piled up seven assists and Jessica Murdick made six. Cassidy Wisdom led the Lady Cards' defense with 12 digs.
Jane Latu drilled eight kills against Lindenwood gold, and Jessica Bollinger and Colleen Crider each made seven. Tyson had 14 assists and Murdick followed with 11. Wisdom made 15 digs and Crider had 10.
The Lady Cards (30-11) travel to West Plains for a tournament this weekend. Their first match is 10 a.m. against Seward County.
