Both the Arcadia Valley Tigers and the Valle Warriors sport undefeated records in the MAAA Small-School Baseball Conference with wins on Tuesday, and the two teams are not scheduled to meet until April 25. Their first game was rained out and a make-up date is unknown at this time.

In the Large-School Conference, Potosi gained a share of the lead in the standings with a win on Tuesday to make a four-way log-jam at the top (see MAAA Standings, next page).

West County 14, Bismarck 4

BISMARCK - The West County Bulldog picked up their second win in as many days with a 14-4 win over the Bismarck Indians on Tuesday. Cody Watson was the winning pitcher and combined with Dustin Dowd for six innings, throwing three innings each.

Derek Stevens and Brian Sullivan led the team in hitting with four hits each. Stevens had two doubles, one single and a triple with three RBI. Bismarck's Tyler Henson had three hits for the Indians.

Bismarck, 1-4, will be at Arcadia Valley on Thursday for their next game, and West County will travel to Caledonia on Thursday to play Valley.

CALEDONIA - The Valle Warriors survived a wild seventh inning to remain unbeaten in baseball action on Tuesday with a 6-5 conference road win over the Valley Vikings.

After trailing 6-2 entering the bottom of the last frame, Valley rallied with five straight hits to make things interesting, but was burned by bad base-running. The Vikings had one player picked off at first base, and another thrown out at second while stretching a RBI single to end the game.

Kellen Basler allowed three earned runs and struck out five while allowing no walks in seven innings to earn the win for Valle (5-0). Michael Dodd went the distance with two strikeouts in the loss for Valley (1-5).

Sean Odneal went 3-for-4 with a big two-run double to lead the Valle offense. Adam Hermann and Basler each had two hits with a RBI, and Nathan Grass chipped in with a RBI single.

Ryan Forbes finished 3-for-4 to lead seven Vikings with multiple hits. Matt Owens went 2-for-3 including a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Zach Hagerty ended up 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The same two teams will meet again this afternoon for a make-up game in Ste. Genevieve.
