Bob Grisham

BISMARCK - Bob Grisham, 80, of Bismarck, passed away December 18, 2006. He was born June 1, 1926 in Bismarck, son of the late Ralph and Mildred Schulte Grisham. He was also preceded in death by his brother Ed Grisham, and his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Glenda Mae “Pete” Grisham. He is survived by two sons: Mike Grisham and wife Brenda of Bismarck, Lee Grisham and wife Karen of Bismarck. Grandchildren, Jason Grisham, Mark Grisham, Bendi Dunn and husband Matt all of Bismarck. Matt Grisham and Jarred Lober of Farmington. Great-grandchildren, Logan and Madison Dunn of Bismarck. Sister, Shirley Branson and husband Elmo of Arnold. Niece, Sandy Grisham Robinson and husband Bill of Daphne, Alabama, Nephew, Ralph Grisham of Alabama. Many other dear friends and family member.
A very special thanks to Cheryl Brenneke, Tonya Kinnard and Sharon Lewis. Bob was a charter member of the Mineral Area Board of Realtors (CCIM), member of the National Association of Realtors, member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, member of the Gamma Tau Mu, board member of the Mineral Area College and Mineral Area Hospital. He started Grisham Real Estate over 50 years ago in Bismarck and was still very active in his work. He won numerous awards for his service as a Realtor. He also used to own and operate Grisham's Hardware. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He loved his work, his farm and his family, putting them above all.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shipman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at the Bismarck United Methodist Church with Chaplain Jack Marler. Burial will be in the Grisham Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bismarck United Methodist Church.
