Fredericktown Police Department Council Report

The Fredericktown Police Department answered ninety-eight calls during the week of April 16 to 23, 2007, and made the following arrests: One for minor in possession of Alcohol (by consumption); one for driving a motor vehicle without a valid operators license; one for operating an ATV on a public roadway; a juvenile arrest warrant was served; two for possession of a controlled substance (Marijuana) ; and two for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On April 16 a 20 year old male was charged with minor in possession of alcohol on City Lake Road.

A mother filed a report to seek an order of protection from her 29 year old son when he was making unwanted/unwelcomed telephone calls to her.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Cherokee Trails Apartments between two women on Wednesday, April 18.

A two vehicle crash took place on Missouri 72 (Lincoln Drive) at North Mine la Motte Avenue at 10:39 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18. Involved were Christopher S. Windle of Fredericktown, driving a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck and Mary A. Adcox of Fredericktown, in a 2000 Mercury Sable. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded to a man and woman arguing on West College on April 19. The man left the premises on his own.

Murphy’s reported a Leaving Without Paying on April 18.

On April 20, a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Dennis J. Allen of Park Hills, Missouri struck a stop sign on the parking lot of Walmart about 5:22 p.m. No injuries were reported.

On April 20 about 6:07 p.m. a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Ethan E. Nickelson of Fredericktown was driving from the parking lot of the Dairy Bar and into the path of an eastbound 1988 Ford Mustang driven by Justin E. Saffell of Fredericktown. No injuries were reported.

An investigation is being conducted into the reported theft of funds from a handicapped person by a home health worker.

A man reported his credit card had been used fraudulently on April 21.

While conducting a traffic stop on April 21, two individuals were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Marijuana.

A two vehicle crash took place on April 21 about 3:39 p.m. on Marshall Street south of West Main. A 2002 Chevrolet Z71 was being backed by Judy L. Crawford of Farmington, Missouri and struck a parked 1992 Oldsmobile Royale owned by Trula T. Huffman of Fredericktown. No injuries were reported.

At 5:05 p.m. on April 22 a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo was being backed from a parking space on the lot of Country Mart Supermarket by Dustin G. Firebaugh of Fredericktown and collided with a 2001 Ford Sport Trac driven by Elizabeth D. Salzman of Fredericktown. No injuries were reported.

On April 22 at 8:16 p.m. the wind caught the door of a 2000 Mercury Sable driven by William C. Wright II of Fredericktown on the parking lot of Walmart. The door struck the side of 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck being driven from a parking space by William J. Moore of Fredericktown. No injuries were reported.
