Two large, clay flower pots were taken from a business on West Main on May 7.
The windshield of a vehicle was shattered while parked at a residence on East College Avenue on May 8.
A 17 year old male was charged with stealing (shoplifting) from the Wal-mart Supercenter on May 9.
A cooler and soda was reported stolen from the back of a pickup truck which was parked on the parking lot of Wal-mart on May 9.
A woman reported her purse stolen on May 9 from a business.
At 7:34 a.m. on May 9, a two vehicle crash occurred on Missouri 72 (West College Avenue) west of Marshall Street. A 2006 Hummer H3 driven by Jeffrey A. Jensen of Fredericktown was stopped in traffic behind a school bus. The Jensen vehicle was struck from the rear by a 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Rebecca L. Tucker of Fredericktown. No injuries were reported.
On May 9 at 5:09 p.m. a three vehicle crash took place on Missouri 72 at Armory Street. A 1994 Saturn being driven east by Kyle R. Kurta of Fredericktown, struck the rear of a 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Patricia E. Fields of Fredericktown. The Fields vehicle the lunged forward and struck the rear of a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Norma L. Tripp of Fredericktown. Injured, Fields and Tripp were taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown where they were treated for evident, but not disabling injuries.
A building by the Middle School and belonging to the Fredericktown School District was broken into on or about May 10. Sporting goods items were missing.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on West Side Drive on May 10 between a man and woman.
Response was made to a home on Holmes Street on Friday, May 11 regarding a domestic disturbance between a mother and her son. The son was gone upon arrival.
A 45 year old man was arrested at his mother’s home on outstanding warrant from Iron County.
On May 12 an Andrews Street resident reported his 2002 Honda ATV stolen.
A 41 year old woman was arrested on May 13 for driving while intoxicated when she drove her vehicle into a ditch at Jennifer and Madison Streets.
On May 13 at 1:07 p.m. a two vehicle crash took place on U.S. Business 67 (South Main) at Delmar Street. A 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven north by Windell D. Griffon, Jr. of Fredericktown was slowing behind a vehicle. Griffon then started to pass the slowing vehicle and struck a 1989 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Erica S. Cooper of Fredericktown. The Cooper vehicle was turning onto Delmar Street. A fence belonging to Alfred Huffman of 816 South Main Street was damaged by the motorcycle. Injured, Windell Griffon received probable but not apparent injuries.
On May 14, a Newberry Street resident reported the theft of items from a vehicle parked at his home.
