Officials search for two charged in burglary
Two other Potosi residents arrested and charged in crime

POTOSI — The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two men who have been charged in a burglary that occurred on Forche Renault Road. Officials are looking for George L. Williams Jr., 46, Potosi, and Kenneth W. Nash Jr., 21, Cadet.

Williams has been charged with two counts of burglary in the second degree, two counts of theft of $500 or more and one count of receiving stolen property. A bond has been set for Williams at $100,000.

Nash has been charged with two counts of burglary in the second degree, two counts of theft of more than $500. A bond has been set for Nash at $40,000.

Two other Potosi residents have been arrested and charged in the burglary. Christopher G. Nash, 30, Potosi, has been charged with burglary in the second degree and theft of a firearm and has been released on a $15,000 bond. Deanna R. Boyer, 31, Potosi, has been charged with three counts of receiving stolen property and remains in custody at the Washington County Jail. Her bond has been set at $60,000.

According to Washington County Sheriff Kevin Schroeder, his department began investigating the burglary on Aug. 5. Schroeder asks that anyone having knowledge of the whereabouts of George Williams or Kenneth Nash contact the Washington County Sheriff’s  Office at 573-438-5478 or 573-438 1079.

“I want to commend those involved in this investigation for being so diligent in their efforts to apprehend those involved,” Schroeder said. “A special thanks to Captain C. LaLumondiere for going above and beyond to bring this case to a close.”
