Chester Schewe

BISMARCK — Chester William Schewe, 89, of Farmington, passed away February 15, 2008, In Farmington. He was born November 25, 1918 in St. Louis, son of the late Edward and Mamie Mueller Schewe.
He was also preceded in death by: Wife, Frances Browning Schewe; one sister, Edith Meyer; two brothers, Edwin and Elmer Schewe.
Mr. Schewe was a life long member of the Bismarck VFW Post #6947. He retired In 1984 from the Mineral Area College Maintenance Department.
Mr. Schewe is survived by: One daughter, Margaret Wilkinson (Jess) of Belgrade; two sons, Billy McKinney (Joan) of Wentzville and Wayne McKinney (Joyce) of Wentzville; one brother, Lawrence Schewe (Gloria) of Golden, Colo.; five grandchildren, John Jellinek (Betty) of Bismarck, Karen Sadler (Bob) of Bismarck, Latish McKinney of Wentzville, Vickey Rothmeyer (Craig) of Wentzville and Christine Krehbiel (Darren) of Camdenton; 10 great-grandchildren, Bobby, Danny, Michelle, Jennifer, Sarah, Tami, Karl, Cameron, Nicole and Natalie; great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Elizabeth, Shawn, Timmy, Tyler, Garrett and Chloe; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation, 5-8 p.m., Monday, at Shipman Funeral Home with a VFW service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Shipman Chapel with Rev. Clark Crawford. Burial, Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
