Many people want to live the American dream by owning their own business. In fact, over half of all new businesses started are small businesses owned by local people. One of the biggest hurdles they face is planning their new business venture and is why over 70% of new businesses fail in their first year.
A class is being offered by the University of Missouri Extension called "The Basics of Writing a Business Plan." The class will be held at 6:00 P.M.. on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Black River Electric Cooperative in the meeting room located at the rear of the building.
