Marquand-Zion Will Present Art Show and Spring Concert
The Marquand-Zion School will hold its annual Art Show and Spring Concert on Thursday evening, April 17, in Tiger Gym. Doors for the art show will open at 6 p.m. The concert will begin at 7.

According to art teacher Vicke Visnovske, this year’s art show will be one of the best ever. “We have some very creative students and their work shows a lot of originality. There is a lot of variety in the type of projects we have been working on throughout the year.”

Junior student Bobby Miller was recently awarded “Best in Show” at the annual art contest at Mineral Area College. Pieces of his work will be on display during the art show as well.

“Top O’ the Music to You” is the title for this year’s spring concert. David Stevens, music teacher, says you will enjoy the variety of music that will be performed. “Our spring concert always focuses on the instruments students have learned to play, ranging from rhythm instruments to keyboards. It is always a favorite for both parents and friends.”

The public is invited to attend the free art show and concert.
