We ran very well considering the lost time of practice encountered from missing so many days due to the weather. Our kids aren’t many but show some great potential. There were 17 teams there and all have the advantage of an all-weather track to run on for practice which we do not. We competed well and found out we will be pretty good in several events at the end of the year. Luke Cureton broke the JV school record in the 3200M run on his first try with an 11:17.

The weather was finally bearable and we performed pretty good but due to sickness and injuries we did not field a full team. We now have three events and two athletes who have qualified as All-Conference. Miriah Korokis in the Shot Put and Discus, and Kylie Oertel in the Triple Jump. This week we go to the Old Settlement Invitational at Ste. Genevieve which is a meet we usually perform real well against schools more our size.
