A St. Louis man was seriously injured Friday night when his 2005 Honda ATV struck a 2004 Dodge Ram in St. Francois County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, James A. Wolff, 37, was westbound on Beach Drive at 8 p.m. at a high rate of speed. He lost control of the ATV just east of Mohican Drive and collided with the truck head-on. Wolff was taken by air ambulance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, Andrew T. Tayon of Imperial, was uninjured, according to the accident report.
Damage to the truck was listed as moderate. The report listed damage to the ATV as total.
