MAC Employees of the Year

Mineral Area College recently awarded Arts & Sciences Administrative Assistant Lisa Johnson with the Classified Staff Employee of the Year Award during the MAC Employee Awards Banquet held at Centene Center on April 18. Johnson, a resident of Farmington, has worked for the college since 2002 and was cited by her peers as being enthusiastic, efficient, and professional. She was given the award by Technology Department Chairman Paul Fritch.
MAC Honors Holmes
Mineral Area College Horticulture Professor Jeanne Holmes, right, was awarded the Faculty Employee of the Year Award during the community college's April 18 Awards Banquet at Centene Center in Farmington. Holmes, a Bonne Terre, was nominated as "one of the most dedicated" instructors at the college. Holmes is retiring from full-time instruction after the spring semester. She was given the award by Nancy Collier, executive administrative assistant to the dean of Arts & Sciences.
MAC Honors Sebastian
Mineral Area College Financial Aid Director Denise Sebastian, right, was recently awarded the Non-Teaching Faculty Award Winner during the college's Employee Awards Banquet held at Centene Center in Farmington on April 18. Sebastian was cited by her colleagues as one who "always goes above and beyond all job expectations." The Bonne Terre resident has worked for the college since 1989. She was given the award by Nancy Collier, executive administrative assistant to the dean of Arts & Sciences.

Mineral Area College General Services employee Bo Snyder, left, accepts the General Services Employee of the Year Award from Technology Department Chairman Paul Fritch during the MAC Employee of the Year Awards Banquet at Farmington Centene Center April 18. Snyder, a resident of Farmington, has worked for the college since 1989, and is retiring in July this year. As one colleague put it, "Bo goes out of his way to speak to everyone on campus. He is also very good at following up on any problems to make sure that everything is working smoothly."
