LEMAY — Donald E. ‘Red’ Barker, 85, of Lemay, Mo. passed away May 10, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Donald E. ‘Red’ Barker was born May 13, 1922 at Rivermines, Mo.

Preceded in death by parents, Noah S. Barker and Francis Rehkop Barker and preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Survived by wife, Doris M. ‘Chaplin’ Barker of Lemay, Mo.; One son, Donald J. Barker of Affton, Mo; One daughter, Darlene Sue Barker of Imperial, Mo; Grandchildren, Debbie Barker, Donald J. Barker Jr., Douglas E. Barker; Five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Katherine, Dakota, Jacob, Abigaile; One brother, Francis ‘Midnight’ Barker of Farmington, Mo.; One sister, Pauline Strong of Wentworth, Mo.; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday. Services for Donald E. ‘Red’ Barker will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home. Burial at St. Francois Memorial Park.
