Area girls heading to Region Tournament

The Mineral Area Girls Fast-Pitch League All-Stars 10 & Under Babe Ruth team placed third in the Missouri State tournament this past weekend, which qualified them for the Babe Ruth Midwest Plains Region Tournament in Monett, July 17-20.

The team is comprised of players from Park Hills, Bonne Terre, Desloge, Farmington, Bismarck, and Leadwood teams.
