Billy Dean Gibson
Billy Dean Gibson, 49, of Fredericktown died July 3, 2008 at his sister’s home in Fredericktown. He had fought against cancer.

He was born May 18, 1959 at Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Ronald Gibson of Farmington and Freida Houser of Live Oak, Florida.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his parents; two sons, Ronald Gene Gibson of Los Angeles, California and Steven Wayne Gibson of Mannheim, Germany; one daughter, Kyra Deanne Gibson of Rapid City, South Dakota; two brothers, Rodney DeWayne Gibson of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Dustin Lee Gibson of Kansas City, Missouri; and two sisters, Rhonda J. Brummer of Fredericktown and Sandra Lynn of Quincy, Illinois.

He had one grandchild who had been born before he passed on and another on the way.

Mr. Gibson grew up in Marquand, Missouri and always called it home.

His interests included his children, fishing, gardening and visiting with family and friends.

He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida and the Luraville Baptist Church.

He donated his remains to St. Louis University for Cancer Research in hopes of helping others with cancer.
