A Farmington woman was injured after her vehicle ran off the highway this morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Deanna D. Creek, 45, was seriously injured and taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Reports indicate she lost control of her 2004 Ford Taurus while driving north on U.S. 67 north of Bonne Terre. The car struck a guardrail and overturned.
The accident was reported at 6:05 a.m.
A Potosi woman received minor injuries Tuesday when her vehicle went off the road and struck an embankment in Washington County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Michelle R. Suhling, 24, was westbound on Route C at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her 1996 Chevrolet Lumina. When Suhling tried to negotiate a curve on wet pavement about .4 miles east of Route Y, the car went off the right side of the road and hit the embankment.
Suhling, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Damage to the car was listed as minor, and it was driven from the scene.
