Mineral Area College to hold 1st Annual Alumni Game

With the 2008 volleyball season to start on August 22 with the American Family Classic, the Mineral Area College volleyball team has scheduled a special warm-up with their very first Alumni Game to be played on Wednesday night, August 13.

Already, fifteen ex-players have agreed to test this year’s MAC team in a best of five contest starting at 7 p.m. The game is open to the public and admission is free.

“This will give our team some preseason competition and give fans a chance to see what we look like as well as give some of our alumni a chance to come back and reaquaint old friendships on the court,” said MAC coach Tim Copeland. Our hopes is for it to be an annual event that will stir up  interest each year for our program.”
