Mineral Area College's Christian Student Union makes about a thousand pancakes for Flapjack Friday to serve to about 175 students and faculty. "We were doing this to serve the students by doing something practical to meet needs," said Scott Bryant. CSU students serving as cooks, from left, include Summer Vroman, Kimberly Allstun, Kendall Goforth, and Christina Boatright. CSU begins weekly lunch meetings called "Fuel" at 10 a.m. Monday in the Private Dining Room in the Sechrest Fieldhouse. or send an e-mail to maccsu@gmail.com.
