Cancer Support group to meet Sept. 9
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
The American Cancer Society and Mineral Area Regional Medical Center will host a cancer support group from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 9 in the community room in the basement at MARMC. The group is designed to help cancer patients, survivors, and loved ones cope with cancer. The group is held in a supportive setting where patients and caregivers can interact with others going through a similar experience, and with people who have gone through it before. No registration is necessary and attending the group is free.
