One woman was seriously injured and three received minor injuries Thursday in four separate accidents in the Parkland area.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Amanda N. Kinder, 17, of Fredericktown, was seriously injured at 12:24 a.m. when her 1992 Dodge ran off the road and struck several trees in Madison County. Kinder was eastbound on Missouri 72, one mile east of Fredericktown, when the accident occurred.

Kinder, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. Damage to the Dodge was listed as total.

Anita L. McEntire, 40, of Farmington, received minor injuries at 6:20 a.m. when she lost control of her 2003 Saturn Vue on a rain-slick section of U.S. 67 in St. Francois County. McEntire was northbound just north of Hedge Apple Lane when the car went off the road and into the median before overturning, according to reports.

McEntire, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Parkland North Health Center. Damage to the Saturn was moderate.

According to the Highway Patrol, Martha R. DeClue, 24, of Pilot Knob, received minor injuries at 9:07 a.m. when the car in which she was riding collided with another vehicle on Interstate 55, south of Route M in Jefferson County. The accident occurred as Linda D. DeClue, 56, of Belgrade, was northbound in a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier in the left lane of the highway. A 2001 Toyota Highlander driven by Sharon D. Stubbs, 51, of Festus, was in the right lane. DeClue’s car began to slide, rotated clockwise and traveled into the path of the Toyota. The left rear of the Chevrolet struck the left front of the Toyota, according to reports.

All three women were wearing seat belts. Martha DeClue was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. No injuries were listed for the two drivers. Damage was minor to both vehicles and each was driven from the scene.
