Accident sends one to the hospital

A one vehicle accident was reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on September 1, 2008.
According to the report, a 2002 Chrysler driven by Kryste N. Fikar, 19, of Arnold, Missouri was traveling northbound on US 67, seven miles south of Cherokee Pass when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected crossing the road and striking a tree.
Fikar suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Madison Medical Center according to the report.
The vehicle was considered a total loss and towed by D and D Wrecker in Fredericktown.
The driver was wearing a seat belt.
