Accident injures Fredericktown man
A Fredericktown man received minor injuries Saturday evening when his 1988 Ford Ranger went off the road and overturned in Madison County.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Darrel W. Clubbs, 46, was northbound on County Road 330, one-quarter mile east of Marquand, at 6:45 p.m. when his vehicle ran off the road. Clubbs, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Madison Medical Center.

Damage to the vehicle was listed as extensive.

In an unrelated accident;

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report; An accident occurred on September 19 at 11:00 pm, along Highway 00 when the 2000 Mercury Sable driven by Jeremy Gibson, 27, of Coldwater, Missouri, swerved to avoid a stranded motorist and collided with an oncoming 1996 Nissan Altima driven by Richard C. Adams, 52, of Fredericktown.

A passenger in the Nissan, Jess W. Feathers, 52, of Fredericktown received moderate injuries and was transported to Madison Medical Center by ambulance where he refused treatment and walked out according to the report.

The Nissan was considered to be totaled and the Mercury had moderate damage.

Both drivers and the passenger were wearing a seat belt.
