U.S. Representatives Jo Ann Emerson tours Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo with U.S. Rep. Ike Skelton and Command Sgt. Maj. Mike Lederle. Skelton, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Emerson and Adjutant General of the Missouri National Guard King Sidwell visited Missouri National Guard members serving in Kosovo. Earlier this week, the three met with senior non-commissioned officers, individual soldiers from towns in their respective Congressional districts, and held a town hall meeting with several hundred Missouri soldiers. "It is always great to see our Missouri troops while they are overseas and to bring them a little piece of home," said Emerson, who returned home on Thursday. "I'm very glad I was able to spend some time with these Americans who are diligently serving our country." - Submitted photo
