More of the same

Dear Editor,

If you’re selling a product that has been around a long time, and sales are beginning to drop-off. You change the looks of the package and come up with a new slogan to sell your product. This is the McCain-Palin strategy. The last seven and a half years John McCain has voted 90% of the time in line with President Bush. Mrs. Palin, a woman (new package) speaks the same ideas (although she didn’t know the Bush doctrine) as Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. Can you afford another four years of the same? The Republican Party that over the past seven and a half years has come to be known as the borrow and spend Republicans. Mr. McCain has never seen a trade agreement he didn’t like. Look at the jobs lost in this country due to unfair trade agreements, with your tax dollars helping subsidize those companies’ move. How can anyone really want to vote for the McCain-Palin ticket? Mr. McCain wants to give taxpayers a health insurance deduction at the end of the year. Which is fine if your employer doesn’t provide this, but if your employer pays partial or full amount, this dollar amount will be added to your taxable income at the end of the year. He isn’t helping working class families. He’s helping corporations to find a way out of paying for healthcare for their employees and their families. Look at the Chrysler Mini-Vans now going to be assembled in Canada. These citizens of Canada have free Universal Healthcare. Chrysler figures to save 1400 to 2000 dollars per vehicle. He’s also helping insurance companies by moving people to purchase their own insurance. When you back the president 9 out of 10 times - you can’t be a maverick. The new slogan of reformer just doesn’t get it, because they don’t get it. It doesn’t bother me to vote for a person of a different color as long as they don’t have the same ideas as our current president. I would vote for a green woman before I would vote for a George W. Bush Clone.

It's quite obvious to me that in no way, shape, or form, any of us have the exact same political views as the next person and that's okay. If we were all the same and thought the same way, all of these comments would be....hmmmm, the same!

Look, the bottom line should be this. Take your opinions, your beliefs, your experiences, your attitudes to the polls. Vote.

It's obvious by the previous comments posted here that nothing that any of you say is going to change the mind of the other commenters.

I'd like to see the commenters on here use their energies to make a difference. You don't like something, by God, do something to change it! Write to your congressmen and keep the neighbor and fellow commenter bashing to yourselves.

For the record, I write to my congressmen when there is something going on I don't like. Do you? It may not change the world, but I'm doing something besides posting here and at least I know that I have done something.

There are countries out there right now who have very clearly stated that if they had nuclear weapons, they would use them, even naming a whole country they want to eliminate.
Who do we send to Washington to make sure that that doesn't happen?
We face a financial mess maybe could become even worse than the great depression.
Who do we send?
You wouldn't choose a Brain Surgeon just because you liked his TV ads, think this one through, do your homework, open your minds, and look on these next few weeks the way you will wish you had in October of 2012.

123456 - No, I think we all remember that, and it was wrong. If a person commits a sin, repents, and asks for forgiveness from God, then they are forgiven. McCain has stated he made a mistake and asked for forgiveness. For you to now call him a sinner is to judge, and unless you are God or Jesus, I wouldn't do that.

Okay...okay - here goes;
I'm gonna borrow a phrase here,
"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone..."
Or to paraphrase a certain stand-up comic "How can tell if a Politician is Lying? - His lips are moving !!!"

Seriously, folks, None of us really have the whole truth, none really 'get' the full picture, or who really stands for what. How many campaign promises and platforms have you seen fall apart after swearing in? I've lost track. What each candidate says today make not mean a hill of ...beans on Jan 21st.
Neither candidate is exactly George Washington, both are trying things never tried before, and both have the 'Sword of Damocles' hanginging over them, knowing that all the best intents may still not be enough to 'turn this around'.
WE, the People are in Deep Trouble.
No one Man or Woman got us in the many messes we are in, and no One person can get US out.
WE have to do it. WE need to start by being honest with ourselves. In a few hours, two presidential wannabees will argue (con'td)

If you read the 263 page report, she was not found to have lied or fired any employees by "Abuse of Power". Good reply Kat. It seems like people have overlooked the fact that John McCain cheated on his crippled wife, thats a sin Tired of the Bull,,,, you still going to vote for McCain, he's a sinner!! Honestly,,, all this name calling is getting out of hand,,, it gets so ugly on here,, sometimes I am afraid to write anything,, all I can say is, wait and see on November 4th and make sure you vote!!!!!

dwsnmo... read the ENTIRED OBAMA plan.. not the spots that cnn posts on it's website.

2nd, Palin was caught.. what politician HASN"T ABUSED THEIR POWER!!!

3rdly - black, white, whatever color they want to be... OBAMA SUPPORTS ABORTION.

Therefore, by my religious beliefs which are based upom the Holy Bible, he is a sinner, and I cannot sin by supporting him.

He's an idiot, a socialist wanna be, a money spender.... just what America needs, spends more of the money we don't have.

What about McCain, (still not the best choice) wanting to freeze govt. spending to help shore up the deficit???

Huh???

Come on people...

I looked very closly at Obama's Tax Plan... guess what.. i make well under 100,000 (household income) and my household will PAY $3000 MORE PER YEAR in taxes...

How's that work?
kat posted on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 at 12:22 pm
I just love the ignorance of someone saying they will not vote for a "sinner' (Obama) because of abortion - supposedly on their bible beliefs.

...and yet - McCain cheated on his first wife with a 25-year-old, after his wife was in a car wreck and crippled. Unbelievable! And yet people think they're righteous in voting for McCain? Get real! Last time I checked, the bible forbids adultery as well.

I just hope people come up with better logic than that.
tiredofthebull posted on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 at 7:47 am
America is lazy - I will say it. This race isn't over yet.

My choice is crystal clear - and it has nothing to do with poltics--- Obama supports abortion by choice... I don't.

It's a sin, it's murder, and I will not support a sinner by voting for him.

Stick to your good book, your core values, and let God sort out the rest...

Yes, McCain supports abortion ONLY in cases of medical necessity and rape. While I agree, I'm starting to lean to the right of those "clauses" as well.

And some of you might ask when did Obama say he supported abortion???? Who cares, the point is it's NOT on his website under issues and he does not come out and say I'm Pro-Life - he's not against it openly, then he's for it.

Not to mention there is no reason to vote for him unless you are too stupid to realize that McCain and George W. Bush are NOT the same person.

Remember 2000? Here is a sampling of some wonderful (CNN, even!) polls from that election.

September 4-6:
Gore 47%

Bush 44%

September 5-7:
Gore 46%

Bush 43%

September 9-11:
Gore 48%

Bush 42%

Polls are oh-so trustworthy, huh?

Now, I'm sure someone will bring up the whole vote re-count issue, and to that I say, Gore lost, get over it.

For "skippy" get you facts straight: The official bi-partisan investigation by the Alaskan legislature found her guilty of abuse of her power!! From the OFFICIAL report (not that junk her campaign put out): "For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(1) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethis Act. Alaska Statue 39.52.110(1) provides, "The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust."

That was finding one of four!

Her campaign "investigation" is like asking your 9 year old to investigate something he did and make a report back to his parents, you know it will be favorable.

For "Tireofbull" and others, I guess the low income now make $100,000!!! Get your rhetoric straight on Obama tax plan!!

Trust me, for the most part, Democrats and Republican are tolerant, however, there are still many of the right leaning kind who would not vote for a black person and that's the truth.

Vote Obama!

Okay, you don't like CNN polls. I get that, so how about these:
USA Today/Gallop poll:
Obama: 52%
Mac: 45%

ABC Post poll
Obama: 53%
Mac: 43%

Fox poll
Obama: 46%
Mac: 39%

Time Poll
Obama: 48%
Mac: 43%

Also, as far as Electorial vote goes so far:
Obama: 264 electorial votes
Mac: 174
You need 270 vote to win, and you should be a little nicer to the "lazy" voter cause that person doesn't do their homework, watch debates, or care one way or another, so you might have a chance to sway their vote. There is still time.

By me NOT paying near that much, and still having a heathly family.. it does me no good.

But wait.. the nationalized healthcare is being brought forward by the liberal Democrats, which like always, want to steal from the rich and give to the poor....

Do some good research.. why do you think the tax breaks that favor of over 250000 a year? Most of them make between 200000 and 250000 per year..

IT WON"T AFFECT THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY MANKE 3 - 10 TIMES AS MUCH AS US!!!

Far be it for me to sound negative... But as ussual, we are to choose a President for our United States next month, and mosty of us don't care for either party. The media controls everything we hear about the Candidates, weather its true or not, and very few of us bother to investigate for ourselfs to determine the truth. We base our opinions, and even our vote on what the media tells us. Then, even if the majority do vote for one, the Deligates, or even the super deligates can step in and choose the later. They say our vote is important, and that each individuals vote matters. But am I alone in seeing different. If the Bush / Gore election didn't show that clearly, then I definetely missed something. Yet, even thow we know these things to be true, we continue to idley stand by and watch it happen. What would be wrong with the media actually telling nothing but the truth about both Candidates, and remaining completely neutral without the rederick. Then, we could make our choice based on fact, not waist time with trying to figure out the truth. In a perfect world...I guess

As someone who has spent a great deal of time in Canada I can tell you they are not waiting months or even weeks to have tests preformed. Their healthcare system is actually very good, but like anything it has its price. Canadians pay a great deal more in taxes than we do, a lot of this is to pay for healthcare and other services we dont get from the government. But when you weigh it out the cost is about the same, the difference is they pay it to the government, we pay it to insurance companies. I'm not sure we'd really beneifit that much from government healthcare.

We have witnessed the Democrats undermine our President and our country since about January 2002. We have seen the TV and print media in the US go from a citizen watchdog to an Agent Provocature for progressive causes and an accomplice to the degradation of our country.

A sad fact here my friends....nothing is going to change in this country unless WE THE PEOPLE make it happen. I have said it before, only a Revolution, Civil War or the Second Coming will change the course of this great country.

2ndly - Nothing against Obama except HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE!!! Less than Palin... and over 1/2 the country thinks he is the best choice???

America's collective stupidity is amazing....

Obama has never....

Wrote a major law.

Ran a government, state, local or national.

Served in the military.

What a great choice for President... America - you need to wake up.. you crave change, and change you will get.. with both candidates.. neither of which I belive is the best choice.. but do you bash Palin and her "lack of experience to be VP", while you tout Obama (who has less) as the best choice???

Make up your mind America... and wake up

The main part of the bill was meant to stop discrimination towards lending to certain geographical locations. For example: If part of the city was a bad neighborhood and people where working to clean it up and move there and they were otherwise qualified for a mortgage - the lending institution could not discriminate against them. This was used as a loophole to make risky loans.

The association issue is silly. I grant I could search your past and find an association that you may or may not know about and make it look bad. You may belong to a club/group/etc and person next to you may have a sorted past, but you have worked with him, talked with him, and otherwise associated on some level. But does that make you a bad person - NO. This is typical mud-slinging and it will backfire on the GOP.

It does not matter if there is a timeline or not, as soon as we leave it will start to change.

Again, the statements that Obama does not respect our country and flag are untrue and have been proven so.

The polls now all indicate an Obama win on Nov. 4; some even suggest a landslide. But theres a strong chance the race will tighten back up this month.

Anger over the Wall Street mess has been pushing voters to Barack Obama in droves. And John McCains effort to get involved in the solution only hurt him.

By suspending his campaign and heading to Washington, McCain made himself a central actor in the unpopular bailout, and thus a target of populist outrage. It also hurt his his effort to show how he far he is from President Bush - there he was, shoulder to shoulder with Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, Bush and Wall Street.

But October may see the end of Obamas surge: Hes peaking too soon.

Once the Democrat is seen as the clear leader and likely winner, the spotlight will inevitably shift to him.

Obama didnt do well when he last emerged on top, in later Democratic primaries. The more it appeared that Hillary Clinton would lose, the more voter concerns over Obamas relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright cost him state after state in the late primaries.

common sense.. first - the middle east countries are mostly behind Obama... such as Iran...

2nd, Obama suddently quit touting his end the war in 16 months shortly after becoming the Democratic candidate - wonder why?? is it because he became privy to information??? who knows..

3rdly... the dems screwed the following up:

Oil being traded on the stock market (Carter)

No offshore drilling (B. Clinton)

Fanny/Freddie (Everyone - Reps called for reigning them in, but the Dems wanted to offer more loans to "needy" people... )

Iraq war?? Look how many people voted for it... Dem and Rep. Some claim they were misled - but everyone of them is very intellegent, and capable of doing their own research.

Look at us now...

Let's take over the stock market, expand a govt. that is beyond in debt and spend more money? How does that work?? Ask Obama.. he will raise taxes and destroy this country...

Go ahead and vote for him. We will be Iranian or Chineese in a decade if we do. (At least owned and operated)
julesirv posted on Tuesday, October 7th, 2008 at 10:02 am
To common sense I believe that you need to change your name. Obama had quite a bit to do with Fannie and Freddie giving out these loans considering his ties to the group ACORN please research this. ACORN is an arm of the Democratic Party. FACT!
They were also mentioned in the bailout bill. You mention corporate greed and this is true, I want to know what everyone thinks about Obama's involvement or are you going to brush this one off too, just as good old Reverend Wright, William Aryes, and let's not forget the Saudi who paid for him to go to Harvard. As far as Palin, how in the world could she be more dangerous and vengeful as the terrorist's, that hate us, that Obama has been linked to. No one President will ever do for us what, suits everyone, but I doubt, that too many Presidents would not tell us his reasoning for not supporting Our American Flag. Regardless how angry we are at our goverment we are still THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and we should be very thankful for this. Elect a President that supports America not Africa as Obama stated several times.

For common sense: Again, someone drinking too much "electric" kool-aid. So you're trying to say that the mortgage institutions were discriminating against those that were qualified to borrow, yet were eager to lend to those that weren't? Maybe you're the one who needs to get your information correct.

As for Iraq: We need to stay there until the generals on the ground say it's ok to pull out. We can't leave until the government is stable, and to do so would mean that the thousands of lives that we've sacrificed were all in vain. It's not going to take decades, as you tried to say. If we set a time line, they'll just sit back and wait for that day, and then all hell will break loose and they'll be as bad off as they were before.

Palin is dangerous? I sure don't see her associating with the likes of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, or Louis Farrakhan. Three VERY dangerous men.

And you think the middle easterners want McCain in office? Your common sense is totally clouded.

why is it when people look up facts, such as NAFTA was signed into law when Bill CLinton was president NOT BUSH, the posts don't get put up????

Why is it when someone points out the top 10 cities with the highest level of poverty have been run by democrats for decades... they don't get posted????

Just curious. Just trying to state the truth...

I should be getting a pulitzer over here.......

Why complicate the issue? The bottom line is that this financial crisis could have been avoided had Congress done its job. The fact that the crisis has hit at just the right moment for democrats is highly suspect. Add to this that most of the CEO's from these failing institutions are democrats and have contributed heavily to democrats adds some very compelling circumstantial evidence that somebodies grubby little fingers are manipulating the entire situation. Something is very rotten here. It is high time the American people take this country back. It may already be too late. If that is the case, we will see another revolution in this country in a very short period of time.

"NAFTA was initially promoted by politicians in the United States and Canada supportive of free trade, led by Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, U.S. President George H. W. Bush, Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari."

"At several points during the 2000 campaign, Bush said that he would move more aggressively on trade policy than the Clinton administration."

"Fast Track":

"Fast Track was first established in 1974 when President Richard Nixon was in office."
"During most of the Clinton presidency, Fast Track was not in place, but by 2002, under the Bush administration, the authority was reestablished amidst considerable debate and bipartisan deal-making, as evidenced by the House of Representatives authorization of Fast Track by only three votes at 3:30am on July 27, 2002."

"Fast Track prevents the legislature from action on issues of trade, essentially leaving the citizens of the United States without an unfettered voice in all trade matters."

"Large corporations exercise their influence unchecked and unwitnessed.
The Bush administration has appointed a number of CEOs (whose companies made large contributions to the Republican Party) to a government advisory committee for trade negotiations."

For dwedry55: Again, someone drinking the GOP kool-aid. The Clinton adminstration did not pass the law you are taking about, the GOP control congress did and Clinton signed it - but it had nothing to do with making banks, etc, provide risky mortgages to minorities. The law was meant to end discrimination towards otherwise qualified people -- the mortgage banks and institutions took advantaged and used it to provide mortgages to people who where not really qualified to receive them. It was mostly corporate greed. So, get you information correct.

As for who is best to lead this country - Obama will, I believe, do a better job. Unless you want to be in Iraq for the next unknown number of 10's of years don't vote for McCain. Plus, Palin is dangerous with a capital "D."

She is secretive and vengeful and not someone you want a "heartbeat" away from being the president.

As for the "Muslim middle east countries" they would like to see McCain win - Obama will take away their best recruiting tool EVER!!!

For "conservativeking" ?!?!?!?!?!? More of that GOP kool-aid.

(cont) I give him credit for immediately going in to Afghanistan after 9/11. Iraq also. The problem with Iraq was, if they did have weapons of mass destruction, and I believe they did, they had enough warning to be able to move them to Syria or another God forsaken terrorist country, or to hide them far beneath the sands of their vast desert.
Our new president will have a full plate to attend to. Not just domestically, but foreign as well. Iran and their Shiite regime, led by president Ahmadinejad are a definite future nuclear threat, and need to be stopped. And North Korea, who already have nuclear weapons are led by a maniac in Kim Jong-il.
I want a man in office who I think best understands foreign policy, along with our domestic problems. That can only be a man with years of military and government experience, John McCain. Our other choice is a man who attended faithfully a church that preached hatred toward the white man, and who has the support of many Muslim mid-eastern countries. THINK!!!
Elect Obama, but be prepared to say, "What the hell did we do"?
dwedry55 posted on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 at 12:23 am
How about that $700 Billion bail-out? Is that Bush's fault too? Not even!! The federal government, under Clinton, forced banks and lenders to give more mortgages to the minorities and the poor. They wanted half of Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's portfolio be made up of these non-traditional loans. They forced them by threatening with lawsuits, to forego the usual criteria of looking at the applicants credit history and their ability to make a down payment. They made them accept welfare and unemployment benefits as valid income. When the housing market went in to it's current slump, those that could not make their payments were also unable to sell their houses, forcing them to file bankruptcy and/or the banks foreclosing. That's where the major part of this bail-out is going, to the lenders who were FORCED to make these subprime loans.
I am definitely not a Bush supporter. I didn't vote for him in either election. However, as poor a president as I think he is, I also have enough intelligence to know that he can't be blamed for everything that people are blaming him for. (cont.)

Also, you cannot change your job if there are NO jobs available because of the current economic state we are in right now thanks to Bush/McCain politics. I will make sure ALL of my family members are registered and ready to vote on Nov. 4th. I'll even drive them to the polls.

If you think that one single person who is elected president can change your life then I hope that you don't have the right to vote. Every-person who says to look at the past 8 years and how bad it is, take a look who has been in control of the Senate the past 4 years. The president has very few powers that will effect us, but as a former Marine, I would want a president who at least served his county!

Obama's wealth redistribution plan is hard for many of us to wrap our little minds around. Let me give you an example. Here is what Obama would like to do with your money. I will use the comparison of a school teacher's classroom:

1)Suppose you studied 4 hours the night before for a big test. You come in the next day and make a 100% on it.

2)The teacher says "You did great on this test. You made 100%. However, the other 20 people in class made D's and F's because they didn't study. If you don't mind, I'm going to take some of your test points and give them to the ones that didn't study. But don't worry, because even though your grade made drop to a "C", we will all feel better about ourselves because we are equal.

How would that make you feel? Furthermore, how would that make you feel if Obama did that with your money?

This is not rocket science, people. You had better stop listening to the Roney-Hahns of the world and take a look at reality.
conservativeking posted on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at 2:01 pm
Well, we can now add Hahn to the long list of liberal Kool-Aid drinkers like Roney and the others.

What these far-left loons fail to realize is that we have Mr. Clinton to thank for NAFTA. Thanks to his brilliance we have paved the way for jobs to leave this country.

The Obama-Palin ticket is not going to help out working families. This may be a newsflash to the Roney's and Hahn's of the world, but the fact is that small business owners are the ones that employ working families. If we inundate the business owners with higher taxes, they will cut jobs in order to make up the difference.

I am all for the working man, as I am one myself. However, I don't believe business owners who have turned their hard work and guts into wealth an prosperity deserve to get clobbered just because they are doing better than me.
tiredofthebull posted on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at 12:52 pm
Wow. What have the Democrats changed in the last 20 years? They still preach big spending, taxing businesses, and big far reaching government.

So not what BOTH PARTIES are not changing anything, what's left to argue?

It's super simple.

You either give breaks to businesses (Those that CREATE jobs) and keep jobs here....

OR....

You tax the heck out of businesses and they do 1 of 3 things...

1) Go out of business.
2) Pass those taxes to the consumer (YOU AND ME)
3) Build a plant in China and make more money than they would have here if they had a tax break.

Get real America.

China will take over the US economically someday very soon and never fire a shot.

Then what will you do?

No more voting - we will be run by an emporer... no more rights, no more freedoms.....

anyone figured out where we are borrowing the 750B that the bailout is needing to work? CHINA!!!!!
BassSlayer posted on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at 11:53 am
Wanda, it is time to wise up. Do you really think a business owner who gets hit with a tax increase is just going to absorb it? The added cost will be 'pushed down' to the consumer in the for of higher cost. Democrats are very good at smoke and mirrors and the class warfare that they employ to win elections is the same used in the communist revolutions the world over. Whenever I hear anyone use the tag McSame, they are immediately reclassified as stupid, uneducated and lazy. Stupid for believing whatever they are told to believe, uneducated for failing to think for themselves and lazy for not making the effort to find the truth on thier own. I would like to propose that whoever votes for BHO should be forced to get a tatoo in a conspicuous location so that those of us that didn't will know who to blame when BHO's true intentions become public. Come to think of it, BHO may make that tatoo mandatory anyway!!!

I'm not voting on opinion; I'm voting on FACTS. Obama is for change, McCain is for more of the SAME!

To "Tired of People"...
Rodney WAS NOT saying that Canada had the right idea. READ the letter. He is saying that OUR jobs have moved to Canada.

ALSO..."Mr. McCain wants to give taxpayers a health insurance deduction at the end of the year. Which is fine if your employer doesnt provide this, but if your employer pays partial or full amount, this dollar amount will be added to your taxable income at the end of the year. He isnt helping working class families. Hes helping corporations to find a way out of paying for healthcare for their employees and their families." IN OTHER WORDS... HELP THE RICH, TO HECK WITH THE REST OF US.

PLEASE.. read the letters with an open mind and TRY to understand that McCain will CONTINUE Bush's legacy...
BassSlayer posted on Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Another slogan that is getting under my skin is 'help working families'. What kind of help are these working families in need of? More taxes? More government regulation? How about just more government? This slogan is absurd. If people would not buy everything on credit and would actually save enough to pay cash for that new couch or the new wardrobe, everyone would be better off. Democrats want everyone to vote for what is best for them which promotes this selfish attitude where everyone wants what they want and they want it now. The number of votes that BHO gets will be an indicator of sorts. Every vote he gets is equal to one irresponsible person (although it could be a dog, cartoon charachter, dead person, or tree that cast that vote which is another story). I still hope and pray that the sheeple that are intending to vote for BHO will wake up to what he really is. How about some personal responsibility? How about voting for what is best for the country instead of yourself? And by the way Mr. Hahn, spewing Democratic talking points does not make them true.

I am so tired of politics this year. I have always voted democrat but not this year. It has nothing to do with color. I would never vote for anyone who is supported by Lybian leader Qadhafi or other middle eastern leaders/groups. Why are they supporting Obama so strongly. This is very scary to me. I have problems with both candidates. However, when countries who hate us so terribly are supporting a candidate for the most powerful position in the world I have a big problem with that. Another thing I have real issues with is the fact that everyone keeps blaming Bush for the economic crisis in this country. I didn't vote for Bush, however, after doing a lot of research on this issue I think both parties should share this blame. However, I have to say it was under the presidency of Bill Clinton that pressure was put on banks to extend loans to the poor and minorities even though they knew those individuals couldn't meet the obligation to repay the loans. The problem with the republicans is that there was no oversight.
Tired of people posted on Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 at 1:41 pm
One more thing...stop spewing your universal healthcare crap. It's great in canada, huh? You wait 3-4 months for a test like an MRI. Your care is directed by what's best for the entire country. I personally like my doctor to treat me, not the entire country. Ridiculous. Move to Canada if it's so great. By the way, Canadian auto workers don't belong to the UAW. Enough said.
