DIAMOND, Mo. (AP) '” A brand-new attraction in southwest Missouri is a collection of really old stuff commonly seen in the kitchens of generations past.

And there are some gadgets that hardly anyone remembers.

The grand opening of Larrison's World's Largest Small Appliance Museum near Diamond Friday is drawing collectors from several states to see 3,500 kitchen gadgets. The usual kitchen mainstays like toasters and waffle irons are mixed in with some not-so-common gadgetry.

Museum founder Richard Larrison says he has a couple of gizmos that 'electrocute' hot dogs. One of them -- once promoted by Oscar Mayer -- bears the slogan 'Electrocuted hot dogs are delicious.'

Larrison calls himself a 'preservationist' who wants future generations to see what kept yesteryear's kitchens percolating.
