DESLOGE — A traffic stop early Thursday morning in Desloge resulted in the arrest of two individuals. According to Desloge Police Chief James Bullock, one was wanted on an outstanding warrant by the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department.

"Officer Thomas Ward pulled the vehicle over on North State Street," Bullock said. "A 29-year-old woman from Herculaneum was arrested for possessing a controlled substance. A 21-year-old Desloge man was arrested for an outstanding warrant."

In an unrelated incident on Oct. 3, two individuals from Nashville, Tenn. were arrested in the parking lot of the Desloge Wal-Mart Supercenter. The arrest took place at 10:15 p.m.

"Officer Sean Roney detained the subjects in the parking lot," Bullock said. "He called for the department’s K-9 Wyatt to search the vehicle. Wyatt hit on the vehicle and a partially smoked marijuana cigarette was found inside of a cigarette pack."

Bullock said a 36-year-old Nashville woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and for having an open container. A 46-year-old Nashville man was arrested for having an open container and for driving while revoked.

Is it just me or does the Desloge Wal-Mart seem to draw a seedy crowd. Good Job Desloge PD.
