Senior citizens ages 65 and older are invited to a free banquet as part of a long-standing West County tradition.
The annual Senior Citizen Banquet will take place at 5 p.m. Nov. 13 in the West County High School cafeteria. Participants will have a meal of turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. After the meal, entertainment will be provided, followed by Bingo.
The event is an FCCLA ( Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) community service project offered each year for the elderly in the community.
