Accident injures man
A De Soto man received moderate injuries Monday when his 2000 Sterling dump truck overturned in Iron County.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Monty E. Manion, 61, was northbound on Route N, 7 miles southwest of Pilot Knob at 5:33 p.m. when his truck went off the right side of the road. Manion, who was wearing a seat belt, overcorrected and the truck overturned in the roadway.
Manion was taken by ambulance to Iron County Hospital in Pilot Knob. Damage to the truck was listed as total.
