Desloge meets Monday

DESLOGE — The Desloge Board of Aldermen will discuss an ordinance Monday at 7 p.m. that calls for the city to abandon a portion of Meadow Road for the purpose of constructing the U.S. Highway 67 Eastern Outer Road. An ordinance will be discussed that will allow the city administrator to sell property located at 108 North Grant Street to RBKP Properties. A third ordinance that will allow the city to proceed with condemnation proceedings on properties for the construction of the Highway 67 Eastern Outer Road is also on the agenda.

The board will also discuss a liquor license request for Stanfill’s Place.
