FARMINGTON — Mrs. Eva Elizabeth ‘Kerr’ Lauser, 91, passed away August 5, 2009, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis. Eva was born on May 23, 1918, in Morning Sun, Iowa, and was the daughter of Ira G. Kerr and Caroline ‘Hank’ Kerr. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Gerald F. Lauser (1987); One Son, Gary David Lauser; Four Sisters: Gertha Greene; Avis Peterson; Frances Malmberg and Letha Seaton. Also, Five Brothers: Dean, Ira, Jr., Basil, Carol and Gaylord Kerr.
Eva was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church.
Survivors include, a son, Guy “Smoke” (and Sandy) Lauser, of Farmington. Also surviving are numerous Nieces; Nephews; Grand-Nieces and Grand-Nephews.
In accordance with Eva’s wishes, there will be No Visitation. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., August 11, 2009, at Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, under direction of Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington.
