The goal for Harvest Night is a fun and safe environment for the children. Kids age 12 and under are invited to turn out in costume. They will have a chance to go to participating businesses downtown from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m., then go to Long Memorial Hall for games and prizes, food, crafts and storytelling.
Families can pick up free reflective trick or treat bags at the Farmington Chamber of Commerce office from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. that day, and then at city hall after 4 p.m. The bags will include tickets for the games and a list of participating businesses for this year’s event.
Games, crafts and concessions from Little Ceasars Pizza will be the order of business from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Outdoor events will take place between the Farmington Public Library and fire department on Harrison Street. The costume contest will begin at 6 p.m. in Long Memorial Hall. The stories will be by the library with complementary books handed out.
Harvest Night is sponsored by the Farmington Chamber of Commerce and First State Community Bank.
