Local author has book signing
Dr. Alton Loveless, a local author and columnist for the Farmington Press will host a book signing today from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Oasis Bookstore, 102 W. Liberty.
The book, “And Who Will Follow” is a new novel by Loveless written in conjunction with Mrs. Amy Gann, a local editor, writer, teacher and consultant.
Local towns, places of this area and the area where Dr. Loveless grew up in Arkansas, have formed a background for the story. The characters, while fictional, were drawn from relationships in Loveless’ past.
To also bring more local interest to the book, asked Parkland Anesthetist Tom Wills and his wife Kathy to pose for the cover of the book.
Another book was written by Loveless entitled “Come Travel With Me,” was published in the spring of this year as well.
