Shirley Mae Sikes, 71, of Fredericktown died November 6, 2009 at her home.

She was born October 9, 1938 at St. Louis, a daughter of Johnny Doc Sillivin and Nellie Rutherford.

On July 6, 1958 she was united in marriage to LeRoy Glenn Sikes at St. Louis. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sikes was also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sue Myers.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Sikes and Michael Sikes both of Fredericktown; one daughter, Cindy Skaggs of Fredericktown; three sisters, Vivian Hudson of Barnhart, Joy Lovette of Festus and Tammy Brame of Fredericktown; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held November 8, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Pastor Clyde Bess Sr. officiating. Burial was at Oddfellows Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Billy Stumbaugh, Greg Garcia, Greg Cook, Curtis Sikes, Jr. Grindstaff and Ed Myers.
