The team has set the office up to recycle cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum cans. They also educate the staff and family members on energy conservation and the benefits of recycling. The green team members volunteer their time on the weekend to help clean up a portion of one of the local communities. This project is done once every quarter.
"I feel being active and giving back to the community is very important", stated Amy Keller, director of patient care and clinical services.
Safe Harbor Hospice is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and making the environment a better place for all.

dont get me wrong, cleaning up trash and litter is a good thing, but come on, when are ppl going to start waking up and realize that the "green" movement is nothing more than a scam? the "green" movement is the money source for al gore and company. the earth is not warming, in fact it has not warmed up at all since 1998, which was when the strongest el nino in recorded history was in effect. the planet has been cooling off ever since then. the "going green" movement is a fraud. it is just a way for the hybrid car companies, al gore, and the democrats to make alot of money at the expence of joe citizen. if the elite are allowed to continue this ridiculous hoax, pretty soon you will be taxed for breathing, farting, and even just for being alive.(farmers are already being taxed for the carbon emmissions of their livestock. the prices of petrol will skyrocket higher than imaginable, you wont be able to afford to drive, wont be able to afford to heat or cool your home, wont be able to afford electricity.it will be tax after tax levied on us
