Night of awards, honors and change
The annual Farmington Chamber of Commerce banquet saw a night of awards, honors and changing of the guard. The event was held Jan. 29 despite inclement weather.
During the banquet Ursula Kthiri was recognized for her almost 10 years of dedicated service as chamber director. Kthiri announced her resignation late last year, with her final day being the last working day in December.

Helping The Hungry
The Help the Hungry Bake Sale organizers delivered checks to the Ministerial Alliance and St. Vincent De Paul food pantries this week. The November bake sale raised $21,400, and both food pantries received $10,700 each. Pictured are, left to right, Carla Taylor, Kathy Romine, Nancy Sullivan, Reverend Paul Bembower, Laura Raymer, Marilyn Currington, Chris Landrum, Cathy Richart, Marlene Ragland, Ardie Henson and Berneice Penchot.
