So ... Where Was It?
Last week’s ‘Where Is It’ was a bit of a tricky one. It helped if you recognized the emblem on the car, or remembered seeing the event covered in the Press several weeks ago. The photo was taken as Arch Air Medical Services was locating a base at the Farmington Regional Airport. The photo shows an Arch vehicle being unloaded into the office area located in the Air Choice One hangar off Perrine Road. Jim Dugal, Laura Raymer, Steve Hammers, Betty Medley and Nancy Bullis all guessed correctly. Thanks to everyone who called in a guess for participating. - Farmington Press photo by Doug Smith

Tomato or ...
When Eugene Shannon brags about having some big tomatoes at home in his garden ... well, he’s not bragging. The Farmington gardener recently displayed some of the “fruits” of his labors. Which brings up the age-old question of “is a tomato a fruit or vegetable?” A little impromptu research revealed that back in 1893, in the case of Nix v. Hedden the United States Supreme Court ruled that, while botanically speaking a tomato is a fruit, under the Tariff Act of 1883 the tomato was classified as a vegetable.

Where Is It?
Regular newspaper readers should recognize this location, and what’s happening in the picture as well. It’s a familiar location with a new tenant. Just don’t get all “up in the air” over guessing. We’re not asking the “what” but just the “where”. Give us a call at 756-8927. - Farmington Press photo by Doug Smith
Some Knew ...
A total of six people correctly guessed the “Where Is It” feature in last week’s Press. The photo was taken from the road near the corner of Potosi Street and Karsch Boulevard, next to Walgreens. Then, to complicate things, the photo was cropped to show only the corner of the Tractor Supply building with Maple Street leading up the hill in the distance on the west side of U.S. 67. Those guessing correctly included a new player to the game, Shawnna Robinson, along with Steve Hammers, Robert Saylor, Marita Akers, Nancy Bullis and Jim Dugal. Thanks for guessing. - Farmington Press photo by Doug Smith
