A-May-Zing in Marquand
As May 10th rapidly approaches in Missouri's Country Triangle Region, which encompasses the Fredericktown, Patton and Marquand area, the momentum surrounding the two month long exhibit  "A-MAY-Zing" continues to grow.  Magnificent works of art produced by well-known early Masters, and today's up-and-coming artists such as Anatole Krasnyansky, Marko Mavrovich, Emile Bellet, Charles Lee and Alfred Gockel will be prominently displayed in participating businesses throughout the Country Triangle Region.

MAC Foundation Donates Nearly $47,000 to Student Scholarship Funds
PARK HILLS—Due to the generosity of alumni and friends of the local community college and its predecessor, Flat River Junior College, Mineral Area College Foundation has increased its endowed scholarships and provided help to several MAC students for fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters, said Peggy Ropelle, foundation board member.

Annual Postal Service Food Drive set for May 10
The Annual Food Drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and the Fredericktown Postal Service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008.
