Varsity, JV Volleyball teams top Scott City

The Fredericktown Lady Cats Volleyball Team hosted Scott City, Monday night.

The Lady Cats won in two games, 25-16, 25-9.

Alex Long had nine assists to lead the Lady Cats. Long, Annabeth Phillips, and Paige Godsey, each had eight points. Ellie Jensen had five kills.

The Junior Varsity Lady Cats won, 25-19, 25-19.

The Lady Cats participated in the North County Tournament, Saturday. Fredericktown lost to DeSoto, 10-25, 22-25. The Lady Cats split with the North County JV, 25-12, 24-26. Then, the Lady Cats lost a pair of games against St. Clair, 18-25, 16-25.

Thursday, the Lady Cats hosted Perryville.

Fredericktown lost 12-25, 16-25.

Phillips led with five service points. Raylyn Dodd had five blocks.

The JV Cats lost to the Pirates, 27-25, 17-25, 22-25.

Tuesday night, Sept. 10, the Lady Cats lost at Clearwater, 16-25, 16-25.

Jensen led with four kills. Dodd had five blocks and Phillips added five service points.

ated the Lady Tigers, 25-18, 25-15, as Kirsten Hanner had nine service points and Calie Burns added four kills.

The Lady Cats host Crystal City, Monday.
