YPPAT greenery sales already underway

“Deck the halls with boughs of holly…”
Most people recognize those familiar holiday lyrics.
There are many other things that also represent the start of the holiday season, and decorating is one of them.
The great news is that The Young People’s Performing Arts Theatre (YPPAT) members can assist the community with their task of decorating.
YPPAT members began their popular greenery sales for the holiday season in September. Cast members are selling fresh, fragrant and long-lasting greenery. An aromatic mixed evergreen wreath is one of the items, with red faux holly berries and a bright red velvet bow. There is also a 28-inch holiday centerpiece with faux snowberries and holly berries or a noble fir door swag with snow-dusted cones and a bow. The last option is a 10-foot fresh-cut cedar garland.
These four festive options may be ordered before Oct. 22. Anyone who would like to order a wreath, centerpiece, door swag or garland should do so from a YPPAT cast member. Each cast member’s family is asked to sell 30 items, so the community’s support is greatly needed and appreciated.
The fresh greenery is expected to be delivered before Thanksgiving.
This fundraiser is necessary for the 2023 YPPAT holiday show “A Merry Christmas Show: Visions of Christmas.” Performances are Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Farmington Centene Center. Tickets go on sale in November at the civic center.
This two-hour show alternates every other year with “The Nutcracker.” Both are sponsored by YPPAT, a nonprofit organization formed in 1981 to enable local dancers to participate in a large-scale semi-professional production.
The show is under the direction of Artistic Director Kimberly Gavin Anderson, Assistant Director Maggie Jeude Haupt and Vocal Director Allyn Rizo.
There are more than 100 adults and children who perform or work behind the scenes in this show.

We are new to Bonne Terre and would love to order! And get tickets for the show!
